Lilies of the Field (1963)
F&F Rating: 8/10
My father-in-law brought this movie over for Christmas Eve. I was just excited not to have to watch one of the movies that runs around the clock around Christmas time. So I was pleasantly surprised when this movie turned out to be as entertaining as it was. The interplay between the characters was quite entertaining and it's just a nice story all around. I encourage anyone to see this film who hasn't already.

Catholic Mass on NBC?
So perhaps I just hadn't been paying attention in years past, but I was rather surprised to see NBC broadcasting the Christmas mass from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (quite the name isn't it) at 12 Noon today. It's pretty cool to think about who might be touched by such a broadcast.
You know you're...
subjecting your kid to an odd combination of TV when he yells "tackle" during the papal christmas mass and calls the head referee the pope

4 Things that rob our peace:
