ReplyDeleteI take it from your comment, Lee, that you don't read CF? You should give it another shot. We have a pretty well rounded staff and to quote Gen quoting someone else the tone has "matured and developed"

Directly targeting me - even though I've been trying to leave them alone. Doesn't make one feel welcome!
It's no more direct than the weed references one has been making toward a certain group of Catholics. Regardless, it was not meant in anger, but rather humor.

I haven't been making weed references to any particular group of Catholics. I've been making reference to all different sorts of people. Including myself.
ReplyDeleteIn that the Interdict directly references a phrase I originated, I find it fairly direct - far more direct than the "poems".
I take your word that it was intended with humor. However, given some of the nasty sarcastic anonymous comments people have tried to post on my site in response to the slugs and other posts, well, the humor doesn't work for me. Perhaps - to borrow from P.G. Wodehouse - I'm probably just a sensitive plant.
I also know that the humor and the Franciscan elements of my poetic playing around may not resonate with some people. So it goes.
But it is your site; you can choose to do what you want with it. God be with you.
